IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • Where Is Your Beef Processed?
All our dry aged beef is processed at Fitch Ranch Artisan Meats Co. All meat is USDA certified and well taken care of by folks that know exactly what you like.
  • Do I Need To Cook Grass Fed Beef Differently?
Their are many misconceptions regarding grass finished beef, however, if done correctly it is not only extremely tasty but healthier and natural. Our beef will tend to be leaner due to the natural process of using forages to finish our animals. Because of this natural process, the leaner beef will cook slightly differently than your store-bought beef. Grass finished beef cooks about 30% faster than grain finished so this means you should cook it quicker if you don't want to overcook.
  • Is Grass Fed/Finished Beef a Healthier Option?
Yes. Grass finished beef is ultimately a healthier option, not only for you but for our animals. With the natural process of finishing on lush forages our cattle are fed only what they need and get to eat and finish at their own pace. There are no forcing grains to our animals which can create a lethargic and unhealthy animal. Our beef has as much as five times the regular amount of omega-3 fatty acids as compared to grain finished beef. It is also heavily nutritious with higher levels of B12, B6, Vitamin E, Zinc, Iron, and much more. With less fat in the beef, those savings are also extended to you. Come try it out! Just because its healthier does not mean it's any less tasty.
  • Do You Use Antibiotics?
Though we recognize the over usage of antibiotics in the beef industry and the harmful side effects of that, we believe they can be beneficial in saving the life of an animal. Our livestock is not administered antibiotics unless it is in absolute need and that accounts to a very minimal number annually. All traces of antibiotics are completely out of the animal's system prior to slaughter.
